Rehearsals are held at St Lukes, Eltham Park, Westmount Road, SE9 1XQ, on Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 (normally during academic term time)

ECS perform world premiere

At their Summer concert on July 6th at St Alfege Church, Greenwich, ECS performed a new work by composer Esther Berswerden which was specially commissioned by the choir for the event. It was accompanied by the Nelson Mass fitting its theme Time and Tides: An Exploration of Greenwich.
The work was very well received, attracting many plaudits such as this:
The Esther Bersweden premiere was very inspiring and showcased the choir brilliantly - well worth the effort you all put into it. The Haydn was both exciting and lyrical

Esther recently took up the post of Director of Music at St Barnabas Church, Jericho in Oxford. Prior to that she was Composer in Residence at Redmaids’ High School in Bristol. She is one of four composers in the National Youth Choir Emerging Professional Artists cohort 2025/26
